Barone di Bernaj Frappato


A red wine with violet hues, it releases intense hints of berries with notes of fresh fruit. Goes well with cheeses, cured meats and baked goods, ideal with all appetizers. Serving temperature: 16-18°C.

Shelf Life

Wine to be consumed immediately or stored for three to five years at most.

Vinification and Aging

Destemming and maceration at controlled temperature (27°C) followed by 12 days on the skins. After racking, malolactic fermentation is fully carried out in steel tanks and further aging in barriques for about 8 months. After bottling, further aging in bottle for 3 months follows.
