Red-colored wine with garnet highlights. Intense, spicy, fruity and vanilla aromas. Taste of good structure, lively character with austere and persistent tannins. Pairs excellently with red meat dishes and mature cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 18-20°C.
Shelf Life
Wine to be consumed immediately or stored for three to five years at most.
Vinification and Aging
Destemming and maceration at controlled temperature (27°C) followed by 12 days on the skins. After racking, malolactic fermentation is fully carried out in steel tanks and further aging in barriques for about 8 months. After bottling, further aging in bottle for 3 months follows.
